Game 5:
The Rochester School for the Deaf Girls Basketball team delivered a dominant performance against St. Mary’s School for the Deaf, setting the tone early and controlling the game from start to finish. RSD jumped out to an impressive 18–5 lead in the first quarter, establishing momentum that carried through the rest of the game. Scoring leaders included Brooklyn with 12 points, Evangeline with 11 points, Ley and Kezia with 10 points each, and Adalie adding 8 points. Kalena contributed 6 points to round out a balanced offensive effort. Beyond scoring, Ley had an outstanding all-around performance with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Evangeline led the offense with 8 assists and knocked down three three-point shots, while Kalena was strong on the boards with 9 rebounds. It was a complete team effort, as the RSD Girls dominated on both ends of the floor and demonstrated excellent teamwork throughout the game. With this 59-17 win, the team’s record improves to 3–3.
