Game 4:
It was a tough loss to the Rapids, 46–21. Our starters had to adjust after PG/SG Evangeline Fisher-Palmer was unavailable, so we changed our lineup and shifted several players to new positions. The team fought hard and learned a lot, but couldn’t overcome the disruption. Ashley Stuhlberg led the team with 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals. Brooklyn added 6 points. Record: 1–3 Game 5: The Delaware School for the Deaf traveled to our school today for a varsity girls basketball matchup, and the Wildcats earned a convincing 55–29 victory. The game started a bit cold, with the Wildcats holding a narrow 16–10 lead after the first quarter. However, strong play in the second and third quarters allowed the Wildcats to take control and pull away. Kalena Sickler posted a double-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. Evangeline Fisher-Palmer added 12 points and 5 assists, while Ashley Stuhlberg contributed 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Brooklyn Christensen led all scorers with 20 points, using her speed to dominate in transition and on the fast break. The Wildcats will be back in action on Wednesday, December 17, when they travel to St. Mary’s School for the Deaf, looking to even their record at .500. The team currently stands at 2–3. Go Wildcats!
