Contest will run from December, 2007 to March, 2008. All reports must be received by email by March 9, 2007.
A $100 Gift Certificate will be awarded by the ESDAA to two students. One student with the best sports report on their winter teams and one for best sports photos with captions.
FORMAT: To enter the contest each student will submit the following:
- A short Biography with picture. Due December 21th.
- Three reports or three digital picture with a written caption. Each report and picture will include a different focus.
- A December report/picture about the opening of the season. The report will include comments from an interview with team captains. The picture should be a team picture with a caption to include student names. Due December 21st
- A mid-season report/picture in January. Comments from players on the strengths and weaknesses of their team. The picture should be an action picture with a caption. Due January 25th.
- An end-of-season and tournament report/pictures. Include comments from graduating players/team members and an interview with the coach. Pictures should include any award pictures, player of the month, etc.. Due March 9th.
The final copy is to be the work of the student. Students may seek peer assistance when editing and revising but may not seek assistance from an adult (parent, teacher, etc.) All work should be spell checked prior to submission. Reports should be verified by sponsor through email.
