Hello everyone again, so the overall record is 2 wins and 6 loses. We tried our best on the court since the few games in the past with six girls. We didn’t give up until the game ends.

January 4^th, we played against Lutheran High and the game was very close but we lost to them 50 to 44. On the court, we played our heart out! I have to admit that we did a great job on the court. With Lizzie make 8 points, Sofiya make 12 points, Avianca make other 8 points, and myself make 16 points helped the team a lot. January 9^th, we played against Solomon Schester and we lost by 10 points. The final score was 41 to 10. Same thing which I said before, we did played with our heart on the court. With five players playing all the way and we did amazing job on the court without substations. Myself make 14 points, Lizzie make 11 points, Avianca make 3 points and Deborah make 2 points. January 15^th, we played against Upper Room and the game was what we don’t expected this but we did our best. We lost to them 38 to 29. With Amanda’s seven points, Lizzie’s eight points, Avianca’s 12 points, and Deborah’s two points did show a lot of efforts on the court. January 17^th, we played against Our Savior New American and unfortunately we lost to them 50 to 36. At the beginning of the game we didn’t get any basket for a while and they score way more. We started to have the hustle to score more basket to catching them up. With Amanda’s nineteen points, Lizzie’s six points, Avianca’s seven points, Deborah’s two points, and Krystal’s first two points with all hustle we did in the second half.

Amanda ; those girls have the passion to play basketball. We only have six girls on the team and they showed up practices and games with their hearts. I really love my girls for doing this for the team. We don’t care how bad is our record right now because we know we did a great job on the court.

The strengths of this team, we do have the passion of playing on the court. We kept playing without giving up on those losing games. The weaknesses; mostly of the time some girls are afraid to shoot to the basket. They don’t have any confidence of aiming to the basket. I am exciting to be part of this team to play basketball with them and trying to get a better record. I LOVE BASKETBALL! The coaches have been trying to explain us how important is to defense and win the game. They practice with us mostly of the time with passing, shooting, and a lot of basketball drills. They corrected our mistakes on the court and try to modify those things. This team is struggling with a lot of frustrated, missed a lot of baskets, and fouls. But, we do succeeding by catching up the other teams and pursuit our passions on the court.

The practice schedule for the basketball is from 3:00pm to 5:00pm from Mondays to Fridays. Games usually starts at 4:00pm. Games can be on variety days. During the practice, we running, we do a lot of basketball drills, reviews with all of the plays, and learned new things.
